About this policy
This policy explains how Little Lore handles information when you use its mobile apps and website. Contact Little Lore support at nainglin.dev@gmail.com about privacy, access, correction, or deletion requests.
Information we use
Little Lore creates a Firebase guest identifier to save and sync learning progress. We store lesson completion, review schedules, stars, streaks, language choices, sound preferences, and sync timestamps on your device and in Firebase Firestore. If you connect an account, Firebase Authentication processes your email address and sign-in credentials or Google sign-in information. Google sign-in may provide basic profile information. We do not ask for a child’s name, school, address, or email to learn as a guest.
Purchases and diagnostics
RevenueCat processes your app user identifier, products, transaction information, and entitlement status to provide Premium. Apple or Google handles native payment details; Little Lore does not receive your full payment-card details. If web checkout is offered, RevenueCat Web Billing and its payment provider process payment information. Native release builds use Firebase Crashlytics for crash and device diagnostics. The website can use Sentry for error reports when configured, with default personal-data collection disabled. Service providers may process technical connection information such as IP addresses.
Reminders and permissions
Daily reminders are optional local notifications. Your reminder time is kept on the device. You can turn reminders off in Me or your device settings. The app does not request access to your contacts, photo library, microphone, or precise location for learning. It has no advertisements or advertising SDKs.
Why information is processed
We use this information to deliver lessons, save and synchronize progress, authenticate accounts, restore paid access, respond to support requests, and diagnose failures. We do not sell your personal information or use it for behavioral advertising. Service providers process information to operate their services, and information may also be disclosed when required by law or necessary to protect rights and security.
Service providers and transfers
Our services include Google Firebase (Authentication, Firestore, Storage, and native Crashlytics), RevenueCat, Apple App Store, Google Play, and Sentry on the website when enabled. These services can process data outside your country, subject to their terms, privacy policies, and applicable safeguards. Lesson pictures are delivered from Firebase Storage; they are app content, not user-uploaded photos.
Retention and deletion
Account and learning data is kept while needed to provide the service, unless you delete it. Me → Delete account lets connected users schedule deletion after confirming their identity. The account is paused and signed out, while its saved data remains recoverable for 30 days. Signing in before the deadline offers Restore account or Start fresh. After the deadline, server cleanup permanently deletes the Firebase Authentication account and associated saved learning data. Cleanup runs periodically, so removal may finish after the displayed deadline. A minimal deletion-status record can remain to block stale access tokens. Guest users can request deletion using their app user ID. You can also request account and associated data deletion by emailing nainglin.dev@gmail.com. We verify ownership before acting. Transaction records held by stores, RevenueCat, and payment providers, and records required for legal, fraud-prevention, or security purposes, may be retained under those providers’ policies. Diagnostics and backup copies are subject to provider retention and deletion cycles. Deleting an account does not automatically cancel a subscription.
Your choices and children
You may use lessons without connecting an email account. You can disable reminders and request access, correction, or deletion through support. A parent or guardian should manage accounts and purchases for children and may contact us about a child’s information. If you believe a child provided information that should not have been collected, contact us so we can investigate and remove it where appropriate. Privacy rights and complaint options depend on your location.
Security and updates
We use authenticated access and service access controls to protect saved data. No storage or transmission system is completely secure. This policy may change as the app changes; the updated date identifies the current version.
